This blog started out as my space for capturing thoughts and interesting ideas when I attended eduMOOC.

I help out with technology for an overseas non-profit working with young people who don’t have access to higher education. No surprise then, that I’m interested in tech for education – particularly cheap/free solutions which can be supported by non-techies.

I love studying and I love the concept of life-long learning, so I’m interested in exploring the set of knowledge, skills and tools needed for self-directed education, especially where formal education is not an option and resources are scarce.

By day, I’m a business analyst. One of the things I really enjoy is the challenge of communicating about technology, and helping people to engage with important and difficult IT-related concepts.
